Schools of Letchworth & Surrounding Areas

Is your school growing produce this summer? If so, would you like the chance to show it off to the people of Letchworth? LDGA invite you to enter the Arch Cup, the annual schools’ competition for best display of produce from the school garden which is held at our Summer Show on the 15th July.
In addition to this, schools may enter a ‘Sport’ themed collage made from recycled materials.

We do hope your school will be able to join in this year; Northfields and Woolgrove Schools, both winners in 2016, said how much fun they had taking part.

Full details can be found in our Show Schedule for Children & Schools

Children’s sections at our summer & autumn shows

If you have primary age children or grandchildren please encourage them to join in; entry is free.

In the summer we have sections which include: cake decorating, making paper flowers and taking photos. The Merit Shield is awarded to the youngster with the most points in the children’s sections.

In the autumn we have sections which include: baking, making a fruit/veg monster or growing a plant in a jam jar. The Children’s Cup is awarded to the youngster with the most points in the children’s sections.

Full details can be found in our Show Schedule for Children & Schools
