Monthly Meetings

We have a full programme of evening talks given by guest speakers covering a wide range of garden related topics. These take place at The Cloisters, Barrington Road, Letchworth SG6 3TH on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:30pm. Entry for LDGA & LALG members is £3 each, for everyone else it is £4 each, this includes refreshments. There is also a raffle with tickets at £1 a strip.

Occasionally our Thursday meeting will be ‘away’ when we may visit a local garden centre or other garden related establishment.

Visit our What’s on page to see this year’s line-up.

Summer Outings

We have several full day trips throughout the summer usually to visit a garden, large or small. These trips are on first come first served basis and prices vary according to destination.

We also have various events going on during the year for members to participate in, these include a potato day and a members’ social evening; we also attend several local events to help promote the activities of the association.

Again, visit our What’s on page for more details.

Two of the highlights of the LDGA year are the Summer & Autumn Shows when you get the chance to show off all the good work that you’ve been doing. These take place in the Free Church Hall, Norton Way South, Letchworth in July and September respectively. It’s a great afternoon out for everyone.
