Click & Collect

With the ongoing Covid situation and the potential for a large turnout, we cannot start next year with our usual Potato Day. Instead, we will reopen on Sunday 31st January with a Click & Collect only service. This will also be the case on Wednesday 3rd and Sunday 7th February. Members can order anything from the 2021 Trading List (subject to availability). All potatoes included on those orders will qualify for 10% discount to make up for the suspension of Potato Day, thereafter they will be sold at the normal price.

If you have already reserved potatoes and don’t want anything else, you don’t need to send in a form, your Click and Collect order is already registered. If you want other items as well, submit an order in the usual way and mention the reserved potatoes on the form.

Click & Collect is for members only so you must be in possession of a light blue membership card to use this service.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Download an order form, fill it in electronically and email as an attachment to trading@ldga.org.uk.
If you can’t open the order form, include the following information in the body of the email and send that to trading@ldga.org.uk.

    • Your name
    • Your phone number
    • Your membership number
    • Quantity and description of the items you require.

If you can’t email for any reason call 01462 431155 between 9:00am and 6:00pm and leave an answerphone message with the order information.

All orders must be received by 6:00pm on Wednesday 27th January, any received after that will not be accepted.

  2. When we receive your order, we will process it and then telephone you to arrange a collection time on one of the given dates. Orders will be dealt with on a first come, first served basis.

  3. On your collection day, come to the Store at your allotted time and your order will be brought out to a loading area for you to pick up. Help with loading will be available if you need it.
  4. If the weather is fine, payment is made at an outdoor payment table, otherwise it will be inside the Store. No one is allowed into the Store itself, other than to pay if wet, and no one will be served without prior arrangement. We can only accept Credit/Debit Cards (ideally contactless) not cash or cheques. Social distancing rules must be observed at all times during your visit.

  5. Restrictions permitting, normal opening resumes on Wednesday 10th February at 1:00pm.
